  1. High Intensity training breaks the body down overtime. Sure it produces results a bit more quickly, but you pay a price in the long run, and research has proven it does not increase cardiovascular efficiency or endurance anywhere near as good as moderate aerobic exercise. Moderate aerobic exercise being vital to keeping your? heart and lungs strong and healthy your entire life, and when it comes to the heart and lungs, high intensity exercise isn’t close to matching the benefits.

  2. Yes, yes, agreed. Although I would not call low intensity endurance work over long periods of time as being efficient, effective, or natural? from an evolutionary standpoint. Short explosive sprints and power movements like Oly lifting, and Tabatas work just fine for me. Carb restriction and Gluconeogenisis seem to work best for fat reduction.

  3. After watching the video this was the same question that I wanted to ask and I guess I have the answer. But I? couldn’t tell if the 7% was a minimum or maximum or what you did that week number. If you could elaborate, What is your weekly goal of racing vs training. I have a habit of running a race every weekend. But want to be smart and continue to improve. Is 7% (racing/easy training) the number you shoot for?

  4. It’s a lie that easy exercise makes you fat. I lose a couple pounds every week from a 45-minute jog/walk in my cardio heart range before work and that’s with only about 70% raw lots of cheating on the weekend. Compare that to the slow increase? in weight when I did intense exercises at the gym. I’ll take an enjoyable jog in the morning any day over masochism at the gym. It works for me, but my goal of enjoying weight loss may be different.

  5. raw food is clock work

    dont count calories

    its too easy
    just eat raw food.

I down maybe ehhh 9-15 bananas a day
(in addition to A HUGE LOAD on frozen fruits and flax seed on top blended)
I use to think it would make me fat because I googled it and someone said
"look at a gorilla, they eat bananas, and look how huge they are"

sadly I? listened to some random Yahoo answers.

give it to me raw! all day all night!

    also, no depression
    life is better by far

  6. Last week was 18 hours? of total training, with a race that lasted an hour and a Tabata set that lasted 8 minutes. One hour and 8 minutes is less than 7% of my total workout time for the week.

  7. You dont push yourself? How about those hellish leg workouts you have made videos on? And running and winning? races I’d call stress on the body. P.S. I love your imitation of the question lol

  8. Easy , every slow paste cardio can make you? fatter. You burn calories only during the running , and you burn way too little. And because you are doing a constantly slow motion your metabolism slows down. You start to burn fat as a fuel source , and after that the body tends to store it back so it can be ready for another long slow session. While high intesity workouts deplete your carbs , and burn fat up to 48 hours after the workout.Anyways if you`re a low fat vegan, you cant get fat from anything:)

  9. how the hell can slow running make you fatter pls pls explain, surely any? kind of exercise is good for you. it is comments like these that stop people from getting their lazy arses off the sofa.

  10. Love your videos in part because your voice is so soothing. Thanks for the cortisol tip too 🙂 Tomorrow and every other tomorrow I’m gonna go for a nice hour long walk outside. I might jog if I feel like it but I don’t want to force myself into things, because that’s not the? path to success.
