  1. You can use a dumbbell instead? (it is less practical…) – place it between your ankles/feet.
    Ankle weights are used to add resistance to the exercise which makes it harder for the abdominal area.

I don’t have? personal experience but people say Valeo AW10 10-Pound Adjustable Ankle / Wrist Weights are okay… the complaints are they are not good for wrists… anyway, some complain that when you adjust the weight (put the weights out) – ti is virtually impossible to put it back… anyway – I think that for $20 it is a good deal…

  7. start with 2-3 pounds, when this weight seems easy, add more…? up to 10 pounds for example. I wouldn’t exaggerate because the exercise itself (without weight) can be quite stressful for the back.
